Phreedom Technologies has defined three types of engagements, each with different requirements and an increasing level of planning and perpetration.
1. Trouble isolation/resolution
A number of problems may exist with your deployed infrastructure that need to be addressed immediately. This can include servers, software, network appliances or usually some combination.
Our resources will follow a well defined protocol to troubleshoot, isolate and document the issues, reaching out to other Phreedom experts as required. Depending on the scope of the challenges we can either begin corrective action immediatly or sit with your staff for a constructive review of the issues and the best approach to getting your operations back to baseline.
An engagement at this level is the simplest and can result in an immediate dispatch of a qualified resource after minimal paperwork. This engagement is billed on a time and materials basis.
2. Implementation
You have one or more project goals that needs to be accomplished on budget and within schedule. If needed, we can sit down with the client stakeholders to define the business goals, project scope, challenges and opportunities in a successful engagement which will include providing realistic milestones and suggesting how to track metrics for success.
We will then work closely with your internal staff to insure the details are documented and that the knowledge transfer allows the client's team to support any deliverable.
Depending on the scope, an engagement at this level involves a technology assessment of the areas of the enterprise involved in the project, a firm understanding of the skills and roles of your internal staff we will interface with. Depending on the risk factors, this engagement can offered as a fixed cost project or a time and materials engagement.
3. Managed Services
If your business requires ongoing support to maintain a stable and responsive environment or you have a series projects that require an embedded team to move forward effectively.
This type of engagement typically occurs after we have performed several substantial projects and the environment is well understood and documented and your management team is receptive to the defined strategic IT direction. This engagement assumes a long term relationship which will allow Phreedom to gradually migrate the profile of your enterprise to a consistent standard that will promote maintainability and stability and lead to a lower TCO.
Depending on the size of the environment and the SLA's required, this level of engagement can involve significant planning and coordination between the Phreedom team and the client. We will work with your management team to craft a Managed Service Agreement that meets all service requirements, accommodates and budget goals and positions the Phreedom team as a seamless extension to the business. This engagement typically involves a fixed budget for IT operations with optional project or time and material engagements under a master service agreement.
