The company specialized in third-tier technical support, network management utilizing HP-OpenView and vendor MIB’s, security, web application development, and fault isolation in large multi-vendor networks. Customer Service Specialist II                                  5/92 - 6/96                                         

Installed and maintained Frame Relay, ATM, and SONET, up to OC192 speeds, and associated customer premise equipment. Implemented and administered several of the first state-wide TCP/IP networks using Cisco routers, during the emergence of the Internet as a business data transport mechanism.  Part of the team which deployed the initial Frame Relay and ATM infrastructure (ATT Datakit II followed by Cascade STDX 9000) internal to the RBOC network (i.e. “the cloud”) in the Southwest.  Subsequently involved in the first two customer ATM installations in Arizona (1995). Used network, application and interpersonal skills to achieve end-to-end interoperability and owned customer satisfaction during large-scale CPE/WAN integration projects.

Production support for entire GPS product line used in the first Gulf War.
